CLASS 401 - MARKS OF A LEADER 1

Our study takes a detailed look at Jesus being the greatest leader that ever walked the face of the earth. In this class, you will be exposed to the leadership secrets of Jesus. At the end of this class you will be able to; - identify the traits that made Jesus the greatest leader of all time - improve your leadership skills - practice good leadership everywhere you go.

CLASS 403 - DCC CULTURE I

Culture is popularly defined as the way of life of a group of people. As a church, we qualify as a group of people. As such, we have certain behaviours that govern us.

In this class, you’ll be exposed to the way of life of a typical member of the family of David’s Christian Centre.

 

At the end of this class, you would have learned;

  • everything you need to know about DCC culture
  • how to live in this culture.

CLASS 404 - DCC CULTURE II

Culture is retained because it’s passed on from one person to the other or obvious enough to emulate. In continuation of the last class, we would be expounding the culture and expectations of a leader in David’s Christian Centre.

                                      

In this class, you’ll be learning how to teach, correct and reflect our culture as a church.

 

At the end of this class, you would have learned;

  • how to pass on the DCC culture as leaders
  • our focus as a church this year, 2021.

 

CLASS 405 – PUBLIC SPEAKING IN MINISTRY I

As ministers, we need to be word-conscious and deliberate knowing that our words carry life and can make or mar the hearer.

In this class, you will be going through a keen examination of the speaking ministry of our Lord Jesus.

At the end of this class, you’ll have learnt;

  • the features of the speaking ministry of Jesus
  • the mistakes speakers tend to make
  • things worthy of note when it comes to public speaking.

CLASS 406 – PUBLIC SPEAKING IN MINISTRY II

Here, Public speaking will be examined on a much broader spectrum. We will be debunking the myths around what public speaking and throwing more light on what it actually is.

In this class, you will be introduced to the world of Public Speaking and its fundamentals.

At the end of this class, you’ll have learnt;

  • the critical parts of every speech
  • how to prepare for a speech
  • tips for making online presentations

CLASS 407 – PERSONAL GROOMING

God said "Men Look on the outward" this alludes to the fact that how you look affects how you are received by people. In other words, there is a direct correlation between how you look and how effective you will be at influencing people.

In this class, you will learn about the undeniable importance of personal grooming. Not just grooming, but a proper one.

By the end of this class, you will be able to;

  • Understand how your Grooming can boost your confidence and overall effectiveness as a leader.
  • Apply practical grooming tips.

CLASS 408 – TEAM MANAGEMENT

Life is harder when one goes through it all alone. Hence why we have families. Along the line, we realise the import of having people in our corner to lessen our workload and to offer diversity.

In this class, you will be learning about how to manage the people that make up any team you find yourself now or even in the future.

By the end of this class, you would have understood;

  • the stages of team development
  • the essence of having a team
  • how to pick out a great team and build a team from ground up.

Wale Joined DCC in 2009 but became a worker 2011, he had served in various departments on the mainland church including Events department and Welcomes as an HOD. He served as Minister In-charge Sanitation, Sanctuary, Events, Welcome, Treasure keepers, Internal Relations, etc before he was made the Assistant Head of Work force on the Mainland Church. He was the pastor of UNILAG Campus Fellowship and the convener of campus Love, dating and sex, He became the Head of DCC Men's Fellowship (JUST MEN) which comprises of both single Men and Married Men across both Centers. He is convener of DCC Victory games and DCC Excellence Awards. He is currently the Head of workforce (Island Church), The team lead DCC Excellences awards and a Marriage counsellor."

Abosede Samuel-Udeme is a graduate of Agricultural Economics and Extensions from Ambrose Alli University. Having kick started her career in the educational and logistics sector, she moved on to follow her passion in writing thereby joining the DCC International team. Abosede gave her life to Christ in the year 1996 and joined the DCC family ten years after. She has served over the years in several units within the ministry amongst which are the Prayer Department (Dunamis), Information desk, The Rock Image (TRI), DCC Publications department (DCC writers), Caleb fellowship and she is a trained DCC marriage counsellor. She also heads the Editorial team and is currently the Ministry’s Administrative Manager. She is happily married to Samuel Udeme and they are Blessed to parent an amazing miracle.

Chikezie Oke is a graduate of Accounting from the Lagos State University (LASU). He is an associate member of the Institute of Marketing Nigeria and an alumni of the Edge Business School. He currently runs his own Real Estate Brokerage business and a professional Logistics and Storage company known as Move Easy across nations. Chikezie gave his life to Christ in 1993. He made the decision to become a member of the DCC family in 2001 after he attended a Sunday service themed “Dressed For”. He joined DCC workforce and was a founding member of the Traffic Department where he served as the head of department for many years. He also served as the Cell leader of Fifth Avenue Connect group and supervised the Prayer Department (Dunamis). He is the current Associate Resident Pastor of the Island church. He is happily married to his beautiful wife Chioma Vera Chikezie-Oke and they have two adorable children, Shania Nesochukwu and Shane Nduchimjiemeonu.

Diche Enunwa joined DCC in 2010. She has served in several departments including Soul impact, Benevolence and Balm in Gilead. She is currently an associate pastor of David’s army, the teenage expression of David’s Christian center. She is also involved in church creatives and is one of the visionary leaders of Soul tv Africa, the David’s Christian Centre film production unit. Diche is married to her best friend Dubem Enunwa and together they have two handsome and intelligent sons.

Mayowa Ojo, popular known as General Mayowa or GM for short is the current Pastor of David's Army - the Teen expression of DCC. He joined DCC in 2006 and has since served in Rock Xtreme, rising to Asst HoD before going on to pastor the David's Army. Mayowa runs a confectionery business and is happily married.

Ogo joined DCC in 2010. I am the Head of Women on the island centre and also the island Chayil leader. I also serve in the Welfare and Guest Services sept and the Head of the unit My husband and I are marriage counsellors. Thank you.
